Jamie Dornan played a funny game called “Fifty Accents of Grey” with Jimmy Fallon on Monday’s “Tonight Show.” The premise was that there was a device called the “Accent Generator,” and Dornan and Fallon had to take turns reading lines from “Fifty Shades of Grey” in whatever accent came up on the generator. Dornan and Fallon had a good time rattling off erotic passages in Scottish, Russian, French, and even a “cowboy” accent. Check out the video below.

It began with Dornan having to recite, “I don’t remember reading about nipple clamps in the Bible,” in a Scottish accent. That was followed by Fallon saying with a Russian accent: “I thought it was chocolate hot fudge brownie sex that we had, with a cherry on top. But hey, what do I know?” Next up, Dornan said, “Don’t get your panties in such a twist… Give me back mine,” with a French accent.

Fallon received some giggles from the audience when, in a “cowboy” accent, he read, “He smiles, then strides with renewed purpose out of the store, slinging the plastic bag over his shoulder, leaving me a quivering mass of raging female hormones.” Dornan, who hails from Ireland, then recited in an Irish accent, “And from a very tiny, underused part of my brain – probably located at the base of my medulla oblongata near where my subconscious dwells – comes the thought: He’s here to see you.” And finally, in an absurd Italian accent, Fallon read the passage, “I found some baby oil. Let me rub it on your behind.”

Dornan’s portrayal of Christian Grey in the film Fifty Shades of Grey hits theaters on Friday, and you can hear him do his best American accent in the movie. Check out Fallon and Dornan playing “Fifty Accents of Grey,” and tell us what you think.
