Bobbi Kristina Brown will be taken off life support on Wednesday, the third anniversary of Whitney Houston’s death, according to new reports.

As Gossip Cop has reported, Brown has been in a medically-induced coma and breathing through a ventilator since being found facedown and unconscious in her bathtub more than a week ago. Now the New York Post and TMZ say they have confirmed that Brown’s family has agreed to remove life support on February 11, exactly three years after Houston was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton.

The eerie similarities between Houston’s death and Brown’s medical crisis were apparent immediately, even as questions remain as to what exactly happened to late singer’s 21-year-old daughter. Police in Roswell, Georgia have confirmed to Gossip Cop that an investigation is ongoing, and several reports have said the cops are exploring the possibility that Brown was the victim of foul play at the hands of Nick Gordon.

Brown and Gordon, whom Houston raised but never adopted, went public with their romantic relationship following the superstar’s death. They were believed to have married last year, but an attorney for Brown’s father Bobby Brown said last week that the two were never legally wed. Sources have since claimed that Brown and Gordon had a history of domestic violence, and Brown allegedly had facial injuries around her mouth when she was hospitalized.

It’s important to note that Brown’s family has NOT publicly confirmed any reported plans to remove life support. To date, statements from Bobby Brown and his attorney have stressed that no changes have been made in her care, and have asked people to keep praying for her recovery. A public vigil attended by some relatives was held in Atlanta on Monday. Gossip Cop will have updates.
