This week's episode of The Bachelor brought what was by far the strangest date of the season. Sure, two-on-one dates are always incredibly awkward, but this one still managed to up the ante.
The episode oddly began with the rose ceremony, as Kelsey had somehow managed to survive her "medical emergency." Samantha and Mackenzie were both sent packing, with Kelsey nabbing the last rose of the ceremony. The other remaining women did not appear to be pleased.

Becca earned the first one-on-one date with Chris, and the two rode horses through Deadwood, S.D., before shooting guns and then exchanging their first kiss. Chris hadn't talked much this season about Becca — a.k.a. the "other virgin" — but he definitely appears smitten, judging by the fact that he used the word "fantastic" about her three times. Looks like Jimmy Kimmel has a new adjective to start a jar for.
The group date involved the ladies writing country tunes for Chris with the help of Big & Rich. This date featured one of the oddest moments of the season, as Big Kenny went on an impromptu jog with a flustered Jade. (Did it seem like he was flirting with her, or was that just us?) The girls all did their best with their songs, but Britt seemed to have a definite leg up. She earned the date rose and even got a private Big & Rich concert, which the left the other ladies sobbing in the bathroom.

In the always-dreaded two-on-one, Kelsey and Ashley trekked out to the least romantic — not to mention dustiest — setting ever. After Ashley told Chris that Kelsey is fake and isn't getting along with the others, he inexplicably told Kelsey what Ash said. Kelsey then gave Ashley the dirtiest look known to man. But in a shocking twist, both ladies were sent home. Sounds like the date was a total blast, right?
