Selena Gomez is comparing her relationship with Zedd to that of Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal in the beloved romantic comedy When Harry Met Sally. On Monday night, Gomez shared a never-before-seen photograph of herself with her arms around Zedd (see right), and wrote in the Instagram caption, “Harry to my Sally.”
Gomez also wrote, “#feb22 #IWYTK,” referring to the upcoming release of their song, “I Want You To Know.” As Gossip Cop has reported, the singer has been working with Zedd on her new album, but it’s their loved-up photos on Instagram and apparent PDA captured by paparazzi that has led many to believe they are more than just colleagues. When Harry Met Sally, of course, tells the story of two longtime friends who share in the ups and downs of each other’s relationships before realizing they’re meant to be together.
Interestingly, after her post was up for a bit, Gomez deleted the When Harry Met Sally comment, and changed the caption to only have a smiley face emoticon with the “#feb22 #IWYTK” remark. (The original, however, currently remains on Twitter.) Of course, Gomez has previously given insight into her connection with Zedd only to then delete the evidence. Gossip Cop reported last week that the star posted an amusing video of herself trying to pronounce the deejay’s real last name (Zaslavski). Fans were able to upload the clip to YouTube before she pulled it down.
And Gomez’s new When Harry Met Sally comparison wasn’t lost on fans either. One fan even created a side-by-side image of Gomez and Zedd with the movie couple. See below, and tell us what you think.
