Riley Keough is married! The actress wed Ben Smith-Petersen in Napa, California on Wednesday.
As Gossip Cop reported, Keough, the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley and the granddaughter of Priscilla and the late Elvis Presley, became engaged to Smith-Petersen last summer. Now roughly six months later, they said “I do” in front of some of their celebrity pals. Among those reported to be in attendance were Kristen Stewart, Cara Delevingne, Zoe Kravitz, and even Keough’s ex, the singer Tobias Jesso, Jr.
Keough and Smith-Petersen, a stuntman, met back in 2012 on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road, which is slated to hit theaters in May. They went public with their relationship last year. Two of Keough’s co-stars from the movie, Abbey Lee and Courtney Eaton, also witnessed the nuptials.
This is the first marriage for Keough, who was previously engaged to her Magic Mike colleague, Alex Pettyfer. She was wrongly linked to Robert Pattinson throughout 2013, and Gossip Cop correctly reported time and again that they never dated. There were even false claims that Stewart was upset by her friend’s supposed betrayal. Her attendance at Keough’s wedding, and at her bachelorette party in November, once again proves our debunkings were right all along.
