Lady Gaga is not yet planning her wedding to Taylor Kinney, despite a new published report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this false story. According to one of the tabloids, Gaga is very “busy” putting together her “nuptials even though she’s not actually engaged” to Kinney. All talk of advance wedding planning is simply not true.
Life & Style says the singer “isn’t waiting for [Kinney] to pop the question to start preparations.” Gaga bought a house in Malibu that overlooks the Pacific Ocean, and so the magazine naturally has a supposed insider, who says she “wants the wedding to take place there” this summer. What’s more, adds the tabloid, is that “Gaga is asking for a no-fly zone permit on her big day. She wants an all-white wedding under a big white tent, and she’s negotiating with a local caterer and a wedding planner.” Wow, that sure should like a lot of preparation for a wedding when she’s not yet even engaged.
Life & Style, however, can’t back up its claims with any specific details, such as the wedding date, even though it alleges she’s getting a no-fly zone permit. Nor does the webloid mention who the caterer or wedding planner are. That’s because the tabloid’s sources are wrong. And saying she’s having a “summer wedding” is a convenient way to publish a story, banking on no one following up months later when it didn’t happen as reported. Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with Lady Gaga’s rep, who tells us exclusively that the premise of the singer planning her wedding before even getting engaged in “untrue.”
