Taylor Swift was not “dissed” by Matt Healy, despite an absurd In Touch story claiming the rocker spurned her romantic advances. Gossip Cop can bust this report, which comes more than a week after Healy shot down widespread rumors that he and Swift are secretly dating.

According to In Touch, Swift “fell head over heels” for Healy after attending one of his concerts, but “the feeling wasn’t mutual.” A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “Taylor came on very aggressively. She would not stop texting him and would get really upset when he wouldn’t write her back right away.”

The outlet explains Healy was “so turned off by Taylor’s desperate behavior that he decided to ignore her completely.” The In Touch source says, “He’s been telling all his friends what a psycho she is. He doesn’t want to deal with her craziness.”

In Touch has spread lies about Swift for years, at one point claiming she was dating Matthew Gray Gubler (not true), setting up a feud with Kacey Musgraves (false), insisting she kicked Harry Styles out of a party (made up), fabricating a fight with Kendall Jenner (never happened), and generally being clueless about everything in Swift’s life.

So when Healy put to rest all those tabloid rumors about a Swift romance, In Touch decided to do what it does and sensationalize things, inventing a storyline in which Healy had “dissed” Swift and rejected her. This is simply not true, just like all those other In Touch reports. Swift never pursued a romance with Healy. Sources close to the situation tell Gossip Cop it’s “absurd.”
