Lindsay Lohan is not trying to become a witch, despite what the National Enquirer reports in the dumbest tabloid story of the week. Gossip Cop can bust this report, which claims Lohan “has become obsessed with the occult [and] wants to be consecrated by a coven as a white witch.” Trees died so that this rumor could be published.
A so-called “insider” for the Enquirer explains, “She loves the idea of taking control of her destiny and wants to be able to do spells, make potions and read tarot and angel cards. She thinks it will help her generate more positivity and power in her life.”
The tabloid claims Lohan got her role in the recent theatrical production “Speed-the-Plow” after asking a white witch to “cast a spell” to ensure she’d win the part. “It worked, and now LiLo’s obsessed,” a friend tells the Enquirer. “She’s on a roll right now and wants to keep the momentum going. She thinks having these wacky talents will help.”
Speaking of “wacky talents,” the Enquirer writes some of the best fan fiction around. If only the tabloid’s reporting was that good. Because Lohan is not trying to become a witch or enter a coven, despite this entertaining (but ridiculous) story. A rep for the star tells Gossip Cop, “Not one word of it is true.”
