Jason Derulo is calling his ex-girlfriend Jordin Sparks a liar after her appearance on Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” on Thursday. And it all has to do with a BMW he gifted her.
During Sparks’ Thursday radio interview (below), the singer, who bought herself a new Jeep for her 25th birthday in December, said she didn’t keep the BMW Derulo gave her because it would “be like dirty money.” Sparks added that they haven’t spoken in some time, so she just “dropped it off at the BMW dealership,” and felt that she should just let him “deal with it.’” According to Sparks, while at BMW, she allegedly found out that Derulo didn’t actually buy her the car but rather leased it. “I was under the impression that it was purchased,” she told the radio show hosts.
Now, Derulo is calling Sparks out for lying, and is even offering proof that the car wasn’t leased, but rather that he paid big bucks for it. On Instagram, he posted a receipt for the $75,000 car purchase, along with the caption, “Women Lie, Men Lie, Numbers Don’t Lie! #WhyLease” (below). Derulo even circled key information on the bill, including that it was the same “4 Door Sedan” and that he paid “$74,431.22” for it, in addition to a “Dealer Administrative Fee,” which came out to $599.00.
Sparks and Derulo split up in September 2014 after dating for nearly years. In November, Sparks released a remix of of Drake’s song “How Bout Now,” in which she blasted Derulo. So, who do you believe?
