Garth Brooks and Justin Timberlake hit all the "low" notes during their duet of Garth's hit "Friends In Low Places."
During Justin's December 19 tour stop in Nashville, Tenn., he strayed from his regular set list and began singing a verse from "Friends In Low Places." The crowd went wild when the country superstar responsible for the single joined JT on stage for a special sing-a-long.
Who convinced Garth to pull off the surprise guest appearance?

"[Justin] came to St. Louis and wanted to see a show, which I thought was odd because this guy's got more talent in his pinky than the rest of us do in our whole body. And, so he came to St. Louis, had a great time and said, 'You gotta come, we're gonna play Nashville.' My wife said, 'H*** yeah, we gotta go, we gotta go.' And I was like, 'I don't want to bother the guy,' and he just kept saying, 'You gotta come,'" Garth told Access Hollywood on Thursday during his "Today" show appearance in New York City.
"And when we got there, they treated us like king's royalty and that's when they broke it to us that, 'Hey, we want to do 'Friends' here.' I thought, 'Are you crazy?' Oh, it was fantastic," he recalled.

In the clip, seen below, Garth relished every moment of soaking in the energy from JT's fans. He was even recording a portion of the performance on his own phone as a keepsake. When the song ended, both men got on their knees to bow down to one another.
"The crowd was his crowd all night, very loud. We got up there and did 'Friends In Low Places' and all of a sudden they were your crowd," Garth told Access. "They were so sweet to me and then the greatest thing was I heard the second that I left, he just collapsed right there on stage, face down. Miss Yearwood said she was laughing so hard. So it was very sweet. He made me feel very good."
