Jason Ward, a tattoo artist from Muscle & Ink Tattoo in New Zealand, has touched the hearts of thousands after a photo of him applying a stick-on tattoo to a woman with Down Syndrome was uploaded on Facebook.
Suzie Barrie walks in every friday and is treated just like any other customer - with Jason putting on his gloves and cleaning her skin like he is preparing for a regular tattoo.
The first time she came in, she just walked in, slapped a couple of stick-on tattoo packets on the desk and asked me to put them on her arm. I said, 'what?' And she said it again so I sat her down and put them on... But if she was a member of my family and she had have walked into another tattoo shop and they had told her to bugger off, I'd be angry. Why would you say no? You should treat everybody the same.
The tattoo parlour's Facebook page has been inundated with praise for the actions of Jason.
