"Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt is rumored to be in the running for People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive title, but the actor is throwing his support behind potential competitor Neil Patrick Harris.
The "Parks and Recreation" actor joked that in regards to the possible People honor, "This has been the result of a lifelong campaign and finally, they listened," he told Access Hollywood on the set of his NBC show, "Parks and Recreation," now filming its final season, on Friday.
But, Chris got serious when Access brought up his rumored competitor NPH.

"Oh, Neil Patrick Harris, he's got my vote," Chris said, enthusiastically. "Neil Patrick Harris, openly gay actor in Hollywood – that's brave. I think being brave is pretty sexy, you know? A lot of actors don't want to talk about their sexuality and he's brave enough to be who he is and on top of that, in spite of all that, still be super funny, taken really seriously, win Tonys, do great work, he's charming, he's a family man, he's got kids, hosting the Oscars. That guy is awesome."
People will announce their newest Sexiest Man Alive, next week.
