The Hollywood Film Awards makes its television debut on Friday, kicking off awards season! Hosted by Queen Latifah at the Hollywood Palladium, the ceremony honors the year’s best in movies.
Among the stars scheduled to appear are Robert Downey, Jr., Steve Carell, Channing Tatum, Angelina Jolie, Keira Knightley, Jared Leto, Kristen Stewart, Jonah Hill, Jennifer Lopez, Reese Witherspoon, Robert Pattinson and Ben Affleck. There will be a musical performance from Janelle Monae.
While the Hollywood Film Awards have actually been going on for 17 years, this is the very first time it’s getting the primetime TV treatment. It’s exciting! Many of last year’s winners, including Matthew McConaughey and Lupita Nyong’o, went on to take the Oscar. Who will be honored on Friday?
