We always enjoy when tabloids pretend to know about “surprises” that one celebrity is allegedly planning for another.
This week, OK! magazine takes a break from fomenting a make-believe feud between Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart and their counterparts from The Hunger Games to deliver a doozy of a romantic “surprise” for the couple.
OK! has lots of details about Stewart and Pattinson’s “romantic getaway to Madrid.”
The two stars were already going to Europe to promote Cosmopolis and Snow White and the Huntsman, explains the tabloid’s so-called “insider,” “But Kristen promised Rob she’ll make time for a romantic getaway after he convinced her to add a couple of days onto the trip for some quality time together.”
And according to OK!, “quality time” is quality time!
“Kristen is going to surprise him by cooking him dinner in her underwear,” claims the magazine’s “insider.”
Um… what?
“She’s already gone and bought a ton of new lingerie and she’s going to bring it with her,” adds the OK! source, who goes on to say that Stewart ordered a high-waisted garter belt and stocking set because she “loves to play dress-up” for Pattinson.
Did OK! read HollywoodLife’s speculation about Stewart and Pattinson being “swingers” and get all hot and bothered?
First of all, the mag has demonstrated that its “insiders” know nothing about the couple.
Otherwise they’d already be engaged — and have a child.
Yes, both stars will be in Europe for the Cannes Film Festival and other events in May.
But as a Stewart source tells Gossip Cop, OK! knows nothing about their itinerary, and the supposed intimate details the tabloid pretends to know are “total fiction.”
