Josh Hutcherson is legitimately curious about cannibalism. The Hunger Games star admits he really wants to eat human flesh. In an interview for the December issue of British GQ, Hutcherson notes (thankfully) that he would never want anyone to be killed to satisfy his bizarre cravings, but adds, “If someone happened to die from natural causes and it was not so taboo… I’m curious.” Hutcherson explains, “I want to know what it tastes like. Like you want to know what a pigeon tastes like, you know, except it’s a human. We’re all animals.”

Interestingly, the actor is more interested in trying human flesh than romancing his longtime Hunger Games co-star Jennifer Lawrence. Hutcherson, who is dating actress Claudia Traisac, opens up about his purely platonic relationship with Lawrence, saying, “From the moment we met, we just hit it off. If we were at all sexually attracted to each other, it would be the most intense relationship in the world.” But that’s not the case. Hutcherson acknowledges, “There has never been an ounce of that between us. It’s been brother and sister from the beginning. We just love each other and that’s a special connection that you only have a couple of times in your life.”

Hutcherson can soon been seen reprising his role as Peeta Mellark in The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 1, which hits theaters on November 21. What do you think of the actor’s comments?
