The latest fabricated story involving Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart claims the actress is taking a break from acting to pursue her ex-boyfriend. The story is 100 percent not true, Gossip Cop is reporting. The story comes from the unreliable CelebDirtyLaudry, whose owner we contacted because of their insistence on publishing falsehoods, but more about that further down this post.
In its most recent story, the webloid says Stewart “terrifies” Pattinson’s new gal pal FKA Twigs, and alleges that while she told the legitimate outlet USA Today she’s going to take some time off because she’s worked for the past two years straight, the real reason is that she’s focused on winning back Pattinson. The silly site goes on to say Twigs has “caught on” to Stewart’s plot, and is doing her best to thwart the actress’ plans.
Once again, Pattinson has moved on with FKA Twigs, and Stewart has similarly moved on since their split. They broke up, as normal couples do every day. And as absurd as the webloid’s latest report, Gossip Cop left no stone unturned and called around and determined, not surprisingly, that there’s not one ounce of truth to the report.
So, where does CelebDirtyLaundry come up with its fantastical tales, which Gossip Cop has corrected of recent? We reached out the site’s editor, who claims the site receives “excellent tips,” and that some of its writers work as “assistants to celebs and production companies.” First off, clearly their tips are not so excellent because their stories have not panned out over the passage of time. While some sites look for quick hits and report outright lies, time is not their friend. As Gossip Cop has stated repeatedly, webloids can publish untruths, but Gossip Cop’s dedication to accuracy and the passing of time will always prove who was right, and what’s fact and what’s fiction. Clearly, CelebDirtyLaundry needs to find better sources or reporters who fact-check, because their stories in both the short- and longterm seem to be fiction.
