Jim Parsons is not acting like a “groomzilla,” despite a new report that claims the “Big Bang Theory” star is being a “control freak” about every aspect of the planning of his wedding to Todd SpiewakGossip Cop has learned this ridiculous rumor, which originated in Star, is completely untrue.

According to the tabloid, Parsons is “micromanaging” every wedding detail and turning their nuptials into a “million-dollar” production. A so-called “pal” alleges that the actor has “specific ideas” about how he wants their nuptials to look, and “if Todd disagrees, he’s usually overruled.” The supposed “source” further notes that Parsons and his partner of 12 years can only agree that they want their wedding to be “private” and “tasteful.”

First off, Parsons is not being a wedding “diva” because he and Spiewak are NOT even engaged. In August, Parsons took to Instagram to slam Star’s sister publication, the National Enquirer, because the supermarket tab falsely reported he had proposed to Spiewak. “Me and Todd in 2003. Still very happy today… And NOT engaged!” he wrote, adding the hashtag, “#NationalEnquirerMakesSh*tUp #duh.” Star clearly didn’t get the message. Parsons is not a “groomzilla” nor is he engaged to Spiewak. A source close to Parsons assures Gossip Cop that there is “zero truth” to the Star story.
