MØ took the stage midway through "Beg for It" to deliver the song's chorus. The Danish singer, 26, struggled through the performance, trepidatiously singing and dancing as she had trouble matching the backing track.

After initial reactions, the performer took to Twitter on Sunday, Oct. 26, to offer up an explanation. MØ posted an image of a handwritten letter, calling her words "the aftermath."

"It pains me and I'm SO sad today," MØ continued. "But life goes on… I'm not perfect never claimed to be, don't want to be, but yeah, sometimes it sucks to be an anti-hero… Big love to Iggy Azalea and her team who're nothing but supporting and amazing!"
