But when she and Sheeran were caught on camera holding hands at the MTV VMAs last year, it was pretty clear they were more than just friends. Horan has also kept schtum, but in an interview with GQ in July he spoke about fancying Goulding, saying: “I’ll say one thing: Ellie Goulding – wow. She’s absolutely amazing looking.”
