Amber Rose is expressing her everlasting love for estranged husband Wiz Khalifa just weeks after their bitter breakup.
As Gossip Cop reported, the couple split in late September after one year of marriage. Rose filed for divorce after suspecting Khalifa had been cheating on her while on tour. In turn, he apparently thought she was straying, too.
The possible thawing of tensions occurred on Tuesday, when Khalifa took to Twitter to wish Rose a happy birthday. In honor of the model’s 31st year, he tweeted, “Happy birthday Amb <3 @DaRealAmberRose.”
Rose appeared to be touch. She responded, “@wizkhalifa Thank u Sweetheart #StillLoveYouNoMatterWhat <3.”
She also paid Khalifa a compliment (and possibly a subtle diss) on Twitter on Monday, when posting about their son Bash. She wrote, “Woke up to Sebastian smiling in my face this morning… He has his daddy’s smile and his Mommy’s heart… And forehead ;-).”
Earlier this month, Rose seemed to be distraught over the end of her marriage, Gossip Cop reported. She vented on Twitter, “The pain…I wake up every morning feeling like my best friend died.” She further tweeted, “I never knew what a true heartache felt like until now.”
In the time since the separation, Rose has been linked to Nick Simmons and Nick Cannon. She was seen hanging out with, and dancing quite closely to, Simmons. He later denied they were anything more than friends. Rumors about Rose and Cannon sparked after they, too, were seen together hanging out on more than one occasion. He recently signed her to his management company, and has repeatedly insisted their relationship is nothing but professional.
Rose has also said she’s single, and maintained she never cheated. Khalifa, meanwhile, has been spotted with various women since the split.
