Ryan Reynolds poked fun of crazy celebrity baby names on Sunday by revealing the ones he’s “considering” for his first child with his wife Blake Lively.
While in Toronto to receive his Canadian Walk of Fame star, Reynolds shared his favorite baby names. “On the plane over here I was trying to think of baby names,” he told etalk. “I don’t want a name that’s anything pretentious or, like, Hollywood-y,” so he’s settled on “Excalibur Anaconda Reynolds… that’s if it’s a girl.” Admittedly, Nicki Minaj‘s hit “Anaconda” is popular this year.
Reynolds must also be a fan of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” because he joked that his top name for a boy is “Bruce Jenner.”
Lively announced in early October that she and Reynolds are expecting their first child by sharing a photo of herself cradling her growing baby bump on her lifestyle website Preserve.
In 2012, the actress told Allure, “I’ve always wanted a big family.” She noted, “I’d love [to have] 30 [kids] if I could.” Maybe it’s us, but that seems like a lot. The interview was released within days of Lively marrying Reynolds in a secret wedding at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
There is no word on whether or not Lively is on board with her husband’s interesting name choices.
