Ellen DeGeneres has joined the campaign to help Cincinnati Bengals player Devon Still and his daughter Leah, whose battle against neuroblastoma cancer has gained notice throughout the NFL and across the country.
On Friday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the host spoke live via satellite to Still, whose sacrifice in the wake of Leah’s diagnosis and bond with his adorable daughter has generated support from rival teams and strangers.
DeGeneres then surprised Still with a $10,000 check for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and announced that she’ll be auctioning off a celebrity signature-covered Bengals #75 jersey, too.
