Charlie Sheen has called off his engagement to Brett Rossi. The actor was reportedly set to wed the porn star (real name: Scottine Ross) in just a matter of weeks.
He says in a statement furnished to Gossip Cop by publicist Jeff Ballard, “Scotty and I had a great year together as we traveled the world and crossed a lot of things off our bucket list. She’s a terrific gal — but we’ve mutually decided to go our separate ways and not spend the rest of our lives together.”
“I’ve decided that my children deserve my focus more than a relationship does right now,” continues Sheen. “I still have a tremendous fondness for Scotty and I wish her all the best.”
The marriage would have been the “Anger Management” star’s fourth. He was previously wed to Donna Peele, Denise Richards, with whom he has two daughters, and Brooke Mueller, the mother of his twin sons. Sheen also has a grown daughter with ex-girlfriend Paula Profit.
As Gossip Cop reported at the time, Sheen and Rossi announced their engagement in February. They began dating in November of last year.
