Gwyneth Paltrow is NOT delaying her divorce from Chris Martin in order to sabotage his relationship with Jennifer Lawrence, despite a ridiculous new report.
A rep tells Gossip Cop exclusively that this story is absolutely not true.
According to Star, Paltrow won’t sign the divorce papers because she knows Lawrence is doing everything she can not to photographed with Martin while he’s still married.
The tabloid notes Paltrow’s holding up of the divorce is making it super “uncomfortable” for the new couple, but she’s doing it out of spite — because she’s “bitter” about the age difference between her and Lawrence, and feels like she’s been traded in for a “younger model.”
Uh-huh.
Of course, Star doesn’t have a great track record with Paltrow and Martin.
The magazine falsely claimed their divorce was “getting ugly” when they’ve been nothing but friendly after their split.
And the supermarket tabloid also fabricated a story about Paltrow writing a “self-help book about the art of divorce,” which, of course, happened.
Regardless, Paltrow’s rep tells Gossip Cop exclusively that Star’s latest tale is “complete BS.”
