Yesterday the philanthropist and athlete had to be rescued 70 nautical miles East of St. Augustine.
Time reports he "was found in an inflatable bubble, disoriented and asking for directions to Bermuda, the Coast Guard said. He was carrying protein bars, bottled water, a GPS and a satellite phone." According to MailOnline he "had claimed before leaving he would mostly survive by fishing."

On his site he had written: "Reza is so confident that he will succeed in this trip because he has carefully articulated every detail it takes to survive."
The website states that he was planning to raise money for a children's hospital.
