Jennifer Garner says the first time she met George Clooney she had head lice.

The actress told the story to Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday’s “Tonight Show,” and in the process did a hilarious impression of her husband Ben Affleck.

Garner recalled that her kids got lice, spread it to everyone in the family, and to get it out of her own hair, she had to comb into her scalp a Crisco-like mixture that smelled like “sulphur and rosemary.”

Then one night, Garner said, Affleck whined, “There’s a party I want to go to, let’s go.”

When she told him she felt too “nasty” from the lice to go to a party, Garner — impersonating her husband to sound like a total meathead — noted Affleck begged, “Come with me. I want you to come with me.”

She told Fallon she thought no one would notice the oily mixture in her hair and besides, “What’s the big deal?”

“First person I see is George Clooney,” said Garner, explaining, “I’ve never met George Clooney before… He’s so handsome.”

And while she acted cool around Clooney with her slick hair, Garner said, “I can see he can smell me.”

She then said the reason she and Affleck weren’t at Clooney’s wedding is that he “didn’t want licey there.”
