‘The Flash’: Electrifying New Cast Images (Exclusive) – ARTICLE

On October 7, "The Flash" arrives on The CW.

The drama, starring Grant Gustin, is one of fall TV's best new shows, and today, Access Hollywood can exclusively reveal some stunning new images of the cast.

"Glee" alum Grant stars as Barry Allen in this "Arrow" spin-off about a young CSI worker who is hit by a mysterious bolt of lightning that gives him super speed. And, the new image of Grant as Barry hints at how electrifying this new series is as it follows the heroic young man as he works tirelessly to fight super-villains in Central City.

Another new pic shows "Law & Order" alum Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West, a mentor and surrogate father figure to the young Barry.

It is Candice Patton who plays Joe's daughter (and Barry's crush) Iris West.

Tom Cavanagh ("Ed," "Eli Stone") stars as Dr. Harrison Wells, who heads up S.T.A.R. Labs.
