Way to make an exit! Beyonce and Jay Z wrapped up their two-and-a-half month On The Run tour in Paris on Saturday, Sept. 13, and they're already back to work, sharing their Bonnie and Clyde tour footage in the first of a three-part short film series.

The controversial couple have rarely been out of the press since they hit the road together in June, enduring serious marriage troubles and more recently, facing rumors they may be expecting a new baby, after Jay Z's cryptic lyric changes in Paris on Friday, Sept. 12.
But rather than take a little time out of the spotlight post-tour, the workaholic couple are already back to it, releasing more of their work -- this time Beyonce and Jay Z: Bang Bang, Part One.

The musical power couple recorded the short movie trilogy with director Dikayl Rimmasch as part of their concept for the On The Run tour, and are now releasing the short movies, one by one, via Nowness.

"In my first conversation on the telephone with Jay Z he explained his concept of On the Run," Rimmasch said in an interview that accompanied the short film footage. "He said, 'We’re not trying to do this literally, it’s not that we’re Bonnie and Clyde. We’re on the run from everything. On the run from becoming a cliché. On the run from doing the same thing again.' Everything he mentioned was a level of consciousness he has for staying alive as an entertainer and as a human being. He wanted to keep it more abstract because for him it was very abstract. How do you stay new, not just to your audience but also yourself."
