Scott Morrison to face inquiry on Friday morning.
Immigration Minister Scott Morrison is expected to give testimony under oath Friday morning, appearing before an Australian Human Rights Commission inquiry.
Mr Morrison is expected to front the inquiry looking at asylum seeker children in detention after announcing earlier this week that about 150 children would be released and placed on community bridging visas.
But hundreds of children remain in detention facilities on Nauru, Manus Island and Christmas Island.
At the last public hearing, evidence presented including allegations against Mr Morrison's department that it had worked to cover up the deteriorating mental health condition of some children in detention.
