Michelle Obama and Ellen DeGeneres have a bit of history, with The First Lady recently beating the talk show host in a push-up contest.
This week, DeGeneres made a surprise appearance (via satellite) at Obama’s Joining Forces Initiative event featuring military families in Jacksonville, Florida.
After some light trash-talking about their physical competition, DeGeneres showed her old prom photo — and Obama’s — to the delight of the assembled military daughters, many of whom are entering prom season.
DeGeneres still had one big surprise in store for the high schoolers.
