Fox's summer competition heated up 31 percent to a season high among adults 18-49, nabbing a 1.7 rating. The show was also up among total viewers with 5.3 million.
Competition proved quite slim. The night's only other original was an episode of Motive on ABC. The drama improved two-tenths of a point to a 1.0 rating.
