The Fault In Our Stars is rocketing toward a huge opening weekend.
According to early estimates, the adaptation of the wildly popular YA book about teenagers coping with love and illness could debut to $50 million.
That would make the Shailene Woodley movie an easy #1 at the box office, ahead of last week’s champ Maleficent ($34 million) and the new Tom Cruise sci-fi action film Edge of Tomorrow ($29 million).
X-Men: Days of Future Past is expected to finish in fourth place with about $15 million.
The #5 spot should go to A Million Ways to Die in the West ($7.5 million), ahead of Godzilla ($6.5 million) and Neighbors ($5 million).
Blended is on pace for $4 million and eighth place.
The Top 10 should round out with Chef ($2.5 million) and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ($2 million).
