‘Game of Thrones’ Preview: 9 Clues From the Latest Trailer (Video)

There are only four episodes left of season four, and it's time for Game of Thrones to sprint to the finish line. Judging by the trailer above, there's plenty of action to come in Sunday's episode, "Mockingbird."

On Friday, director Alik Sakharov will share what he can with THR about the episode. Until then, let's pore over images from the latest preview to see what we can learn.

1. Tyrion has a plan

Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) gave a fantastic speech and demanded trial by combat in the most recent episode. Here, he tells Jaime "don't give up on me just yet," suggesting he has a plan. But who will serve as his champion? Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) is certainly in no shape to fight for his brother. Clearly, Tyrion has someone else in mind.

2. The Mountain returns...

And he's as ruthless as ever. Here, we see The Hound's brother chopping off a man's head despite cries for mercy. Though he's been mentioned often in recent weeks, this is the first time we'll see The Mountain in season four -- with Icelandic actor Hafthor Julius Bjornsson being the third person to play the role. The real question: Will Oberyn get to face the man he says raped and killed his sister?

3. Daario the assassin?

Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) could pull a Robert Baratheon and send an assassin after her enemies. "Send me to kill your enemies. Any enemy, anywhere," Daario (Michiel Huisman) offers his queen. Will he sail to Westeros and take a stab at Tywin or continue to help Dany clean up Slaver's Bay?

4. Arya's body count gets higher

This girl just can't stop stabbing people.

5. The Hound knows he's wanted

Tywin put out a bounty on The Hound's (Rory McCann) head, and Sandor is aware of it. He blames Arya, even though Tywin doesn't know she's with him: "Thanks to you I'm a walking bag of silver."

6. Melisandre gets friendly with Selyse

Stannis now has the backing of the Iron Bank, so one would assume he might not need the Red Woman's magic as much anymore. It appears Melisandre (Carice van Houten) is making sure she's still relevant, appealing to Selyse's vanity (Tara Fitzgerald): "You are strong enough to look into the lord's light and see the truth for yourself." Selyse previously delighted when the Red Woman burned her own brother, so it's not a stretch to imagine Selyse would want to harm another member of her family.

7. Snow castle

Book readers will recognize what this is, but we won't spoil it.

8. Littlefinger is still giving speeches

Fear not! Lord Baelish (Aidan Gillen) still has plenty of Machiavellian advice to dispense. This week's gem: "Given the opportunity, what do we do to the ones who've hurt the ones we love?"

9. Sansa has a date with the moon door.

Will Sansa (Sophie Turner) be the next one to "fly" out the moon door? It's safe to assume Lysa's (Kate Dickie) problem with her niece stems from the Littlefinger jealousy hinted at a few weeks ago. For Sansa's sake, let's hope that moon door stays closed.

What do you think will happen in the next episode? What do you want to happen? Sound off in the comments!
