“Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons” is moving full steam ahead — despite reports claiming the upscale Long Island communities are trying to keep Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian from filming there.
As Gossip Cop reported, the sisters’ new show will follow their adventures opening a pop-up DASH store in the Hamptons and, presumably, getting into some mischief.
In the last couple of days, a number of outlets have speculated that locals are doing everything they can to keep out the Kardashians.
According to the reports, the wealthy neighborhoods where producers are trying to find a residence for the famous siblings hope to avoid the paparazzi hordes and other potential inconveniences of hosting Kardashians.
But Gossip Cop has learned that while it’s certainly true that many in the Hamptons are wary of a reality show filming nearby, the idea that the Kardashians won’t be able to find a home is completely exaggerated.
Sources close to the production and to the family tell Gossip Cop there is no concern whatsoever about the Kardashians being barred from the Hamptons.
Meanwhile, the sisters have narrowed down their search for a pop-up shop location to just a handful of storefronts in Southampton and should close on one in the near future.
