Host Ryan Seacrest announced that tickets for the American Idol Summer Tour are going on sale on May 9.
The 41-city tour will kick off June 24 in Binghamton, N.Y. and will wrap in Redmond, WA, on Aug. 23.

This summer's tour is a smaller affair than usual, foregoing typical stops at arenas for outdoor theaters, casinos, and alternate venues including a performance at The MAC at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, N.J.
The tour, features season 13 finalists C.J. Harris, Jena Irene, Caleb Johnson, Jessica Meuse, MK Nobilette, Alex Preston, Dexter Roberts, Majesty Rose, Malaya Watson and Sam Woolf.
For every ticket purchased, $1 will be donated to the Melanoma Research Alliance.
