‘About a Boy’: ‘Parenthood’s’ Crosby Pays Will a Visit (Exclusive Video)

NBC's About a Boy is making good on its promise to crossover with Parenthood.

After star David Walton stopped by the veteran NBC drama from showrunner Jason Katims, Parenthood's Dax Shepard will return the favor during the freshman comedy's April 8 episode.

After Walton's Will swung by Crosby's (Shepard) poker game on Parenthood, Crosby will do the same -- this time at a poker game at Will's place during "About a Poker Night."

During the hour, Will throws a poker night for his friends, including Andy (Al Madrigal), Crosby, TJ (Zach Cregger) and Richard (Keith Powell), but Fiona (Minnie Driver) winds up hijacking the night, making herself at home with the guys while Marcus (Benjamin Stockham) heads to his first sleepover.

Katims, who also serves as showrunner on About a Boy, told reporters in January that there would be crossovers between the two series. "Because both shows are set in San Francisco and the Bay Area, it made sense that there would be [crossovers]," Katims said, noting that with both Will and Crosby in the music business in the Bay Area, it makes sense.
