Miley Cyrus is mourning the death of her dog Floyd.
The heartbroken singer shared the news with fans on Twitter early on Wednesday, along with pictures of her beloved pet (see right and below).
Cyrus wrote, “I don’t wanna say it because I don’t want it to be real… But my precious baby Floyd has passed away. I am broken.”
“I know I don’t mean it but I wish he would’ve taken me with him… this is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him?” she asked.
The pop star added, “I am miserable.”
“I’m sorry in advance if I am not myself tomorrow Boston,” tweeted Cyrus. “I will try my best to be my best.”
On Instagram (see below), the star posted an image of her eye, captioning it, “Sad pupil.”
Cyrus did not reveal Floyd’s cause of death.
