Chile was hit by a massive 8.2 earthquake on Tuesday, prompting a tsunami warning.
Miraculously, no deaths have been reported so far, but residents are being evacuated from damaged buildings.
Officials say the West Coast of the U.S., which has seen some of its own scary quakes lately, is not in danger of significant tsunami effects.
Almost immediately after the earthquake, “#PrayForChile” became a worldwide trending topic.
A number of celebrities took to Twitter to share their reactions, including Snooki, who was born in the South American country.
