"Shameless"
It's not easy going up against The Walking Dead -- but despite stiff competition from the season finale of TV's top-rate show, Shameless still scored a four-season on Showtime this Sunday.
Across three plays, the dramedy brought in 2.8 million viewers. That's the show's best audience in four seasons, topping a high from several weeks ago. During the original 9 p.m. play, head-to-head with the AMC show, Shameless was also just 200,000 shy of its all-time first run record of 2 million viewers.

Shameless, which is being submitted as a comedy and not a drama for this year's Emmy race, is currently tracking to have its highest-rated season to date with a gross weekly viewership of 5.7 million viewers. That's up 8 percent from the same period last year.
House of Lies is on par with last year's gross viewership of 3 million weekly viewers, but also spiked on Sunday. With 1.44 million viewers for the night, the comedy was also at an all-time nightly high.
