In the 45-second Resurrection spot, a better explanation of the plot is parsed out, introducing audiences to three characters who died years earlier and come back to life. There's Rachael, who died 12 years ago; there's Caleb, who died 13 years ago; and then there's Jacob, who died 32 years ago.

Set to the moody ballad "I'm Coming Home" by Skylar Grey, the resurrected return asking one big question: "Did I really die?" And when their families start accepting that their loved ones have returned, some are happy while others are rightfully unsure. "What if he's not the same?" a father asks when his young son come back without having aged a day.

Omar Epps, Frances Fisher, Matt Craven, Devin Kelley, Mark Hildreth, Samaire Armstrong, Sam Hazeldine, Landon Gimenez and Kurtwood Smith star in the series from executive producer Aaron Zelman (Damages, The Killing).

Will you tune in?

Resurrection debuts March 9 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
