WATCH: Seth Rogen Gives Funny But Heartfelt Senate Testimony on Alzheimer’s

Seth Rogen testified before a U.S. Senate hearing on Alzheimer’s disease research on Wednesday.

While most of the star’s opening statement concerned the very serious matter of the illness (which afflicts his mother-in-law and led him to create the Hilarity for Charity organization), Rogen did manage to sneak in a couple moments of levity.

Rogen cracked up the room with a dig at Sen. Tom Harkin’s failure to see Knocked Up, an acknowledgment of his well-known affection for weed, and references to Xbox and “House of Cards.”

Of course, his purpose in visiting Capitol Hill — to raise Alzheimer’s awareness — is reason enough to check out the video below.
