Charlie White, who made history at the Sochi Winter Olympics when he and partner Meryl Davis won Team USA’s first-ever gold in ice dancing, was on the “Today Show” to make good on a promise to Savannah Guthrie to play violin if the paired medaled.

As Gossip Cop reported, after receiving choreography help from “Dancing with the Stars” champ Derek Hough, on Monday White and Davis beat the Canadians and Russians for the gold.
On Tuesday, White gave another pressure-filled performance when he took out his violin, which he hasn’t played in three years, and played for the “Today Show” gang.
He admitted he was “more nervous” about playing the violin live on the morning show than nailing all the jumps and twizzles.
