Sage Kotsenburg has won the first gold medal for USA at the Sochi Winter Olympics.
The 20-year-old snowboarder completed an almost flawless run on the Slopestyle course, nabbing first place.

Kotsenburg tweeted after the event, “WOW!! I just won the Olympics!! Bringing back the first Gold here to the USA! Love seeing all the support from everyone YOU RULE!!”
