TV Land is setting up special episodes for Hot in Cleveland and The Soul Man.
The cabler announced Thursday that the season premieres of Betty White's Hot in Cleveland and Cedric the Entertainer's The Soul Man will kick off with live episodes on Wednesday, March 26 at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., respectively. White and Cedric will also cross over on the other's show.

This marks the second time Hot in Cleveland will open its season with a live episode. The half-hour comedy kicked off its sophomore season June 19, 2013.
Additionally, Hot in Cleveland will produce an animated episode that will air as part of the sitcom's fifth season. Animation Studio Titmouse will create the art for the episode.
The animated episode will feature Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli), Joy (Jane Leeves), Victoria (Wendie Malick) and Elka (White) as cartoon characters embarking on a worldwide adventure beginning in Elka's apartment. The episode will pay homage to Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, The Walking Dead and Frankenstein.
