Jimmy Kimmel Live is setting up shop in Texas.
For the first time since its move to the 11:35 p.m. PST/EST time slot last January, Jimmy Kimmel's late-night talker will hit the road for a week of shows in Austin, Texas, timed to the music, film and tech festival South by Southwest Festival.
Jimmy Kimmel Live will air five new shows March 10-14 from The Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Center for the Performing Arts, which overlooks downtown Austin, Auditorium Shores and Lady Bird Lake.

"Austin is one of my favorite cities and there is no place more fun than SXSW. I can't wait for March 10th. I'll be the guy covered in BBQ sauce," said Kimmel.
With the week-long residency, in addition to celebrity interviews and musical performances, expect Kimmel to film segments around Texas and SXSW.
The show has traveled to other cities during its run. In November 2012, Jimmy Kimmel Live filmed a week of shows in Brooklyn, posting the show's second most-watched week in its 11-year history, and in 2006, the show filmed in Detroit's GEM Theater leading up the Super Bowl XL.
The trip on the road for Jimmy Kimmel Live will come weeks after NBC launches its new Tonight Show Starring With Jimmy Fallon and Late Night With Seth Meyers late-night lineup in February.
