Breaking Bad showrunner Vince Gilligan already has new plans for his former Breaking Bad stars.
The writer/executive producer told reporters backstage at the Golden Globes following the AMC drama's first drama series win for its final season that he wants his former co-stars to cameo on AMC's upcoming prequel series, Better Call Saul.
"We are plugging away on Better Call Saul -- in our fourth week in the writers' room on that -- and [executive producer] Peter Gould and I will be hitting up all these wonderful actors for cameos at some point," Gilligan said. "We have to figure out how to work that out, story-wise."

The AMC drama took home the show's first Golden Globe win after two nominations. The statuette joins its Emmy Award and comes four months after the series about a meth-dealing chemistry teacher ended its five-season run. Star Bryan Cranston also won his first Globe after five nominations -- including four for his role as Walter White.
"If we had known this, we'd have gone to Vegas first and put some money down," Cranston joked of if he expected the series to win. "We're no dummies. We have to finance the next series!"
Cranston thanked the loyal fans of the series, which soared to record highs in its final season late last year before getting reflective about the win. "What a way to go out," he said.
Gilligan, meanwhile, noted that he was happy he wrapped up the series when he did.
"Was it the right time to end it when we did? As much as we miss the cast, the crew, the city … I feel at peace that we ended it when we did. It's better to go out [on top] then, 'Aw crap, is that still on the air?'"
Better Call Saul, a prequel series centering on Bob Odenkirk's Saul Goodman before he became Walter White's attorney, will debut in November on AMC.
