Young Jeezy was reportedly arrested for allegedly beating up his son in Atlanta.

According to TMZ, rapper was booked on Friday for battery, false imprisonment, and making terrorist threats for the September 2012 incident.

The charging documents say Jeezy got into a fight with his son in a bathroom, slamming his head against a shower door and punching him in the face.

Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, also allegedly choked the boy and told him, “If I could get away with it, I would kill you.”

He was reportedly released on $45,000 bail shortly after his arrest on Friday.

The performer has a couple of sons, and it’s not clear which child was involved in the alleged assault.

A lawyer for Jeezy tells TMZ, “We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family’s privacy.”

Gossip Cop has reached out to the Atlanta Police Department for additional information on the incident.
