Nick Cannon Addresses “Knockout Game,” Opens Up About Time As Gang Member

Nick Cannon addressed the “Knockout Game” and gang violence in a series of tweets on Friday.

On the same day that Rose McGowan witnessed a random act of violence in Los Angeles, Cannon spoke from the heart about his own concerns on Twitter.

“We need to give our young people something to ‘fight’ for!” wrote the entertainer. “I was a kid when not given direction I ran astray, but guidance gave me something to ‘fight’ for.”

Cannon continued, “Guidance has to come from someone we respect and admire.”

“Idle hands are the devil’s tools,” added the “America’s Got Talent” host. “Feral fire is dangerous but a harnessed flame can light up the world #DamnIShouldWriteABook.”

He went on to declare:
