Tim Tebow has a new job.

He has signed a deal with ESPN to become an analyst for the SEC Network, it was announced on Monday.

Tebow played college football at the conference’s University of Florida, where he won the Heisman Trophy and two national championships before embarking on an NFL career marked by enormous hype and limited success.

The analyst role will not preclude Tebow from pursuing potential playing opportunities.

He will make his debut on January 6 during coverage of the BCS National Championship Game between Florida State and Auburn.

“I am so excited that ESPN has given me this incredible opportunity,” Tebow said in a statement. “When I was 6 years old, I fell in love with the game of football, and while I continue to pursue my dream of playing quarterback in the NFL, this is an amazing opportunity to be part of the unparalleled passion of college football and the SEC.”
