Mimi Kennedy Books HBO’s ‘The Brink,’ ABC’s ‘Mind Games’ (Exclusive)

Mimi Kennedy is adding two new roles to her résumé.

The actress, currently recurring on CBS' freshman comedy Mom, has boarded HBO drama pilot The Brink and booked a guest turn on ABC's midseason drama Mind Games.

On The Brink, the dark comedy about a geopolitical crisis from Jerry Weintraub, Jay Roach and Roberto Benabib, Kennedy booked a recurring role as the CIA director. Ryan Curtona will also recur as the chairman of the Joint Chiefs in the pilot starring Tim Robbins and Jack Black

On ABC's Mind Games, which is slated to premiere Tuesday, March 11 at 10 p.m. Kennedy will guest star on the Christian Slater and Steve Zahn workplace drama about two brothers who use human motivation and manipulation to solve their clients' problems. She'll play Susan, a financial backer who accompanies her granddaughter to Edwards and Associates to hire the team.

Kennedy, repped by Justice & Ponder and Behr & Abramson, most recently guest starred on Veep, Mistresses and Anger Management.
